Burke is printing the book CONNECTIONS, a collection of artwork and scientific images that portrays aspects of neuroscience, brain diseases and mental health disorders, and their intersections with art and life. CONNECTIONS is the result of a collaboration between the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute (NMHI) and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. It was born from a desire to build links among the scientific community at the NMHI, patients with neurological and mental health disorders and the community at large. 20% of book sales proceeds will support NMHI research on neurological and mental health diseases.
